I’m going this evening with my cousin (the one I helped with a Rover) to look at a ‘58 Series 62 Coupe, for $1500. Not this one, obviously.
Needs a fuckton of rechroming and interior stuff, obviously. Doesn’t look like it’s much beyond surface rust, though. But, at that price, do we really care? Lel. Will report to ye plebs on the outcome ROLLAND THIS MEANS YOU

I suppose since you’ve at least had a Cadillac you’ve got your status lifted somehow.

I thought Fuckton was the name of a town. Clearly it’s a quantity. Is it more than a shitload?

One could always use another monstrous American yacht project in one’s fleet. For $1500, is has to be worse than the Lincoln, right? RIGHT?!??

Depends on the exchange rate.

Worse interior, somewhat. Somewhat worse chrome. The glass is intact, though. Anyway, this probably solves the “where do we get a Cadillac for the “Big Three Cold War Cruise” question. You’ll just have to rustle up an Imperial, and done.

Good one. I think Fuckton is down the road from Moncton.

I did that last weekend, actually. A bit *ahem* out of the price range, but the CWC was my first thought upon seeing it.

Very nice. You may have to touch a lower price point than that one, but think of that as the
ideal.

It actually looks better in pictures than it is, it had an old repaint that was crazing a bit, and the chrome was probably original. It sort of made it even better, it was nice and straight but a bit of patina never goes wrong.

Damn, I would love to buy something like this and do a Jeff Lutz type build.

It was a little rougher than anticipated, and there are a few issues with political capital to take it on, so this will probably not be the one. It’s definitely a starting point for somebody, though.

Yeah I found a ‘55 Coupe DeVille that would be wicked, but they are asking $9,500
